Located at Tilden Park in the hills above Berkley, the Golden Gate Live Steamers is a 501(c)(3) museum whose mission is to operate a large scale miniature railroad and promote craftsmanship in model engineering for the benefit of our members and the education of the public.

We run a train carrying the public every Sunday from Noon To 3:00 PM depending upon the weather.  Our station entrance is located just below the Redwood Valley Railroad loading station.

If you have an interest in home shop machining, railroading, live steam, or any othe form of model engineering, we would love to welcome you to our club. Feel free to come to our monthly meetings, usually held on the second Sunday of each month, starting at 10am, and introduce yourself.

Our facilities include 7.5" gauge / 4.75" dual gauge ground track, and a tri-gauge high level track consisting of 4.75", 3.5", and 2.5" gauges.
